College Hive uses third-party advertising pixels that may transmit data about your activity on our site to external platforms. You have the right to opt out of this sharing at any time. It will not affect your access to any features.

What we share and with whom

When advertising pixels are active, limited data — such as your IP address, device identifiers, and site activity — may be sent to the following platforms to help us measure our marketing campaigns:

Opting out tells College Hive to stop sharing your data with these platforms. However, data already collected by the platforms before your opt-out is governed by their own policies. We recommend also using each platform’s own opt-out tools (linked above) for full coverage.

Your protections depend on your age. California law gives additional rights to users under 16.

 

Under 16: You are automatically protected. College Hive does not share personal data with advertising platforms for users under 16. No action is required from you. Advertising pixels are suppressed on your account by default.

Age 16–17: Email us and indicate which pixels you would like to opt-out of.

18 or older: Email us and indicate which pixels you would like to opt-out of.

Parent / guardian: Email us with your child's email address (the one used to access the College Hive Dashboard), your email and relationship to the child. Indicate which pixels you would like to opt-out of.
